XL
The RITA StarBurst XL creates ablations
up to 5 cm and can also be used to ablate the needle track. The
device has nine electrodes, a live trocar tip, and provides real-time
temperature feedback from five independent thermocouples within
the array. Electrodes within the array configuration are well-distributed
and have a special "space-filling" design.
 
With its adjustable array size, the RITA StarBurst XL makes it
easy for physicians to create predictable zones of ablation from
3-5 cm.
